This 3 minute piece was made as a part of longer animation created in conjunction with Polygon Pictures, Tokyo. Displayed on 96, 50 inch plasma screens positioned in a grid across the floor, these screens sat as the foundation of the ‘open your mind’ exhibit at the world expo in Aichi province in Japan.

Directed by Mamoru Oshii, the esteemed, award winning film and anime director of ‘Ghost in the Shell’, this animation went through many guises and an estimated 1million plus layers in aftereffects! ; ) the changing Kanji represent mythical animals and nature, as the kanji quickly change formation the meanings rapidly change in a search to for an ultimate code.
